Practice makes perfect
4B
Good morning Principal, teachers and students.
A: I am Kwong Ka Yi from 4B
B: I am Yip Tim Lok from 4B
A: Since the morning assembly always talks about what we should do, today we are going to talk about something different, which are the 6 habits teenagers should not develop.
B: The first habit we should not develop is to take no responsibility for your life. Stop blaming all of your problems on your parents, teachers, friends or the government. Problems are meant to be solved, not to be blamed on.
A: The second habit we should not develop is to begin with no end in mind. Stop avoiding goals at all cost. Stop forgetting about consequences.
B: The third habit we should not develop is to put first things last. Stop putting off your homework and revision until tomorrow. Stop making sure that unimportant things come before things that matter.
A: The fourth habit we should not develop is to think win-lose. Stop having an idea of if they win, you lose. Stop thinking about ways to prevent your classmates succeed at anything.
B: The fifth habit we should not develop is to seek first to talk then pretend to listen. Stop expressing your side of the story first. Once you’re sure everyone understands your views, pretend to listen by nodding.
A: The last habit we should not develop is to not being cooperative. Stop saying teamwork is for the dogs. Stop saying you always have the best ideas, and therefore, you are better off doing everything by yourself.
B: I am sure that if we all stop developing bad habits in our teenage lives; we will make the world a better place to live.
This is the end of our sharing. Thank you.
