A&B: Good morning Principal, teachers and fellow schoolmates, We are Kit and Hong from 5C.

 

A: B, Chinese New Year is coming, according to the tradition, it may be the right time for us to plan for the new year. Have you got any new planning?

B: Yes, I have just made up my mind. I want to be a “perfect” man.

A: To be a perfect man!!! What do you mean? Can you give me more details?

B: Yes, sure. I want to be healthy, to be smart and to be intelligent. Therefore, I think I will go running twice a week. You know, we are going to sit for the HKDSE next year, if we want to get better examination results, the first criterion is that we have to be healthy. Without health, life is not life. Without health, life is nothing.

A: I see. Well, how can you make yourself smart and intelligent?

B: I will read more newspapers and books in order to widen my horizons. To be a smart guy, I must develop a good common       sense. In my opinion, as a student in HK, I have to know about international affairs, understand more about the development of my motherland – China, and pay more attention to social issues in Hong Kong. Of course, if possible, I want to help people who are in need.

A: Wow, your ideas are very good. Personally, I do not dream “big”. I just want to try something new.

B: Something new?

A: Yes, I want to be a volunteer. I have planned to go to Yunnan in Mainland China to be student teacher to teach pupils English. B: That sounds great. Can I go with you?

A: Sure. Let’s make our dreams come true!!
